Looking at air filter replacement like K&N for the 2017 Pacifica. Rock Auto and several other web sites list the same air filter as the old Pacifica used. Anyone know for sure?

It would be cool if some company came up with a CAI..then maybe the "Hood Scoop Hood" in a picture that was rendered could be functional...LOL

I hope it works for you as well, but using the online Mopar parts catalogs, it appears the Pacifica has gone back to a rectangular air filter element rather than the almost triangular one from the T & C. Let us know what happens.

Seems like the Pac already has a CAI? That duct that picks up air in front of the radiator? Most modern cars have this design. Now I will say that it looks a bit restrictive as its fairly low profile, but there doesn't seem to be much room under the hood.

I stop being lazy and opened her up to take a look at the filter.. I am cancelling my order of the K&N..

The air filter on the 2016 Town & Country is a bit different than the 2017 Pacifica.

D A M N it..Looks kinda like the Dart filter..

1st picture is the K&N Town & Country and the stock is the Pacifica.

Now I just wonder if any other vehicle uses that shape and size..

Outer size
bottom is 9 3/8" wide
tall on long side 9 3/4"
short side 4 1/2"
top is 7 1/4"
the slant is about 5 5/8"

Well as you can see my picture on the replies above, its a 5 sided filter so that 200 Filter will not fit.

I'm sort of suprised mopar would have a one off filter housing for the pacifica. I am willing to bet this housing is shared with another car. Will speak to the repair tech when I go to pick up the van

I also wanted to changed the filter and really can't find any availability. So, I removed it and found the same as a post above . 5 sided filter Mopar filter with a p/n 68214516AA, and can get it through Mopar parts and Walmart online fulfilled by Mopar.

I think most of us on this thread wanted a K/N version of the filter.. well that was my goal anyways..

I just wanted the Mopar part number and a place to buy the air filter. Insane that this isn't easier. Amazon, Fram, etc. all are listing either the older Pacifica or the Town and Country part, none of which will work. Thanks for sharing pictures, part number and sources in this thread! - Bart

My Pacifica has the ESS system which came standard on Pacificas starting sometime last spring. The ESS has a dual battery setup which MAY have required changes to the air cleaner. Mine is definitely different than my 2014 T & C with the same engine. I am looking for an early Pacifica to see if that is the case. Does anybody know?
