Deciding on whether to buy a hybrid now or wait for the 2018. Was told by the sale person that 2018 won't be out till October. Same sale person also told me that carplay/android auto can be software updated for the 2017s in which i'm not sure is correct information. Anyways does anyone have any insight on when they will roll out 2018 models.

Only insight is that car salespeople will say anything to get a sale.

Primary reason to wait would be if you are averse to buying first year models.

2017s won't get Android auto. It's a hardware issue. We are waiting out 2018s too and I hope by Christmas with 2017s coming in April/May.
