Seems like most inventory on dealer lots have black seats. Makes finding an in stock car harder if you don't like black. I wonder why black is so popular?
It wasn't that way until recently. The black seats are newer. When we were looking in February it was nearly impossible to find a limited with black seats, everything was alloy and mocha. I have young kids and think the alloy is really nice looking but you'd have to be insane to get those seats with small kids haha

I ordered my Limited with black seats last November. Everything in dealer inventory had alloy. The black gets warm inside if it is parked in the sun but it does have remote start so I could cool it off before entering.
The black with Diesel trim is perfect for my needs.

Is the black/diesel combination kind of the same as the black/alloy combination on the Touring L and Touring L+ ? The color combo looks similar to me? If it's not could someone please correct me and let me know what I'm not seeing? Thanks.

I think all of the available interior seat colors for the new Pacificas look nice, but for me, the Black/Diesel interior was the one that I had to have once I saw it...

Black seats have been the default for awhile & is why it took longer to find the vehicle matching what I wanted last year. I held out for thead "lt frost & mountain brown" leather in my 2020 Ram & have a 5.5 year old son. He's been raised to respect belongings which extend to my or anyone else's vehicle. He also knows what it is & is not allowed in my vehicle. Interior of my vehicle stayed pristine. So has my van. He knows I'm especially particular about my vehicle and he has become that way as well. I'm proud of him because I don't ever want him to be riding around in a trash can on wheels.

I HATE black leather interior. I much prefer like beige or tan but especially like the brown leather. I don't know what it is about that brown colored leather that I like but I just really really like it. I also love Volvo's light colored leather. There is something about the shade of Volvo's beige/tan interior, mainly the XC70s & XC90's that make them look cozy like a living room on wheels.

"Hate" would be a little strong for me, but I agree with you in that I don't like black. I don't like that extra heat it holds, making summer driving uncomfortable.

I just don't really care for the look of it. I've always found the lighter colored leather to be more aesthetically pleasing. I'm not sure where my intense hate for black interior comes from but I absolutely cannot stand it. I've wondered why it tends to be the default because I would think the lighter colors would be preferred. I have heated, not cooled seats which I do use occasionally especially right now given some mornings extremely cold. However, it heats up pretty quick so I don't use it for long. That being said, the "light frost & mountain brown" (🤭 such goofy names) leather I had in my Ram, I absolutely loved. I specifically held out for that color combo too. That said, looking for the van I have now, I came across one with that color combination leather and instantly fell in love but not only was it out of my range, it was missing a few of my non-negotiable must haves so I passed. I'm currently in the market again, not because I want to be but due to finances. I would love to get another Pacifica but from what I am & am not finding, I likely will be unable price wise. So, I am kind of disappointed similar to wanting something as a kid thinking you just HAD to have it & not getting it. On the flip side, there are only a couple features I've come to love such as the Wi-Fi (unlimited for $20.07/month) & seats able to fold into the floor which are kind of easy to find but Wi-Fi mainly in newer vehicles. There are a few other vans with floor fold seats including Chrysler Town and Country, Dodge Grand Caravan, Ford Transit Connect & Nissan Quest. I would say I loved the Uconnect theater but they functioned 2 months & decided to quit. I definitely will not miss that. Oh well! 2 of my contenders are Nissan Quest LE or SL & Ford Transit Connect Titanium & they both only have light colored leather so that's a bonus. I may be wrong on the Transit Connect leather color but that's all I've ever seen. The downside with them is they are extremely hard to find without 100,000+ miles plus or significant accident history. I apologize for straying so far off topic.

Love our Alloy, as it really makes the interior cool in the Texas summer! Its been pretty easy to keep clean as well. Just use the trusty old Lexol brand cleaner and conditioner I use for my other cars.
