The automatic door locks on my 2017 Pac Hybrid do not lock the doors until 5-7 minutes after I start driving. Not sure if that's how they are set at the factory but would like them to lock as soon as the vehicle shifter is moved out of the Park position. Anyone know if that's possible and how to make that change?

I think they shut when you reach about 10mph. I believe you can set it up in the menu to lock as soon as you shift out of park.

That may require dealer intervention. The owner's manual states:

The auto door lock feature default condition is enabled. When enabled, the door locks will lock automatically when the vehicle’s speed exceeds 12 mph (20 km/h). The auto door lock feature can be enabled or disabled by your authorized dealer per written request of the customer. Please see your authorized dealer for service.

So, I think they have removed all user interface into this option. It may be the only access to it is using the dealer's tools.

I remember seeing it somewhere in the user manual. But now for the life of it, I can't find it.... How frustrating.. !!!

I've noticed the same issue recently. Cant specifically narrow it down to this but i definitely did not notice it happening until after the most recent OTA UConnect update. Doesnt happen all the time but i've definitely noticed it when they lock after i've been driving for like 20 mins (and been above 12mph). Its a jolting sound when you're not expecting it unlike when you first start driving and hit 12mph within like a min.

Hello bina12834,

If you feel that you have a concern with your vehicle, we recommend bringing this to the attention of your dealer. We would be more than happy to offer our assistance as well if needed. Please feel free to send us a private message.
