Hey guys,

for those in particular with older ones, how have you found the batteries have held up?

How much degradation have you experienced. I’m kind of nervous that Chrysler doesn’t put a degradation threshold for their battery like Ford and Kia do for example.

It really depends on usage over time more so than anything else. You can't go by mileage because some never plug theirs in and others always do. My estimate is round 10%-20% loss over 5 years in average use.

All batteries no matter the manufacture or battery supplier lose charging capacity over time . Are you sure your not confusing battery degradation with internal thermal heating and cooling ?
I’m well aware of that. But in ford and Kia’s warranty, they specifically say at end of the warranty it’s guaranteed to be at 70% original capacity.
Chrysler has no such language in their warranty. Some earlier phevs like the older Outlander had issues with rapid degradation.
