Stopped by my Costco Tire/Battery center on the way out of the store and, finally, they have AGM batteries in stock, and two of them in size H6. The fellow said those two won't last long and no telling how long it will be to get more. Our battery is still in very good condition after 37 months (have used battery tender), so will let someone else grab one of them.

I would like to make summary for dual battery Pacifica (with ESS) when I am going to replace some battery - should I first disconnect the blue circle connector for IBS and then the 10mm nut (the red circle) from negative connector? Or should I disconnect the blue nut only? What with yellow nut?

And what is the procedure after replacement?

I just replaced the battery today on my 17 Touring L which was a rental in its prior duty (I bought it with 46k miles earlier this month). I went with an Interstate at Costco at $143.99. The procedure was pretty cut and dry- I was worried about the intake thingy but it came off without a problem. 10mm on all the nuts.

The van had died a week after I bought it. Since I knew the van was on the dealer lot since May I put it on a tender until fully charged but that did not seem to help as it was very inconsistent with doors opening when the ignition was off and the horn was muffled when setting the alarm from the keyfob. It also had a hard time turning over at start.
4.5 years and 30k miles later and the Costco Interstate battery has appeared to spit the bit. Disappointing to say the least- especially since I don't have stop/start. I'm debating an Walmart EverStart AGM or an Exide non-AGM from Home Depot. Any suggestions?

My vote is on the Walmart AGM. AGM batteries are recommended in most modern cars. Think about all the electronics in these vans, even the power steering is electric.
Truthfully there are only 3 battery factories in the USA they all just get a different sticker.

I picked up the Walmart Everstart AGM H7 (looks like a Johnson Controls unit or whatever they call themselves these days). Installed with no issues so we'll see the longevity on this one. Funny enough, the floor USB which hasn't charged my iPhone 13 in forever worked after install! Wonder if it was the old battery's current causing a problem.
