2022 Pacifica Hybrid Pinnacle model comes with a new entertainment system that has FireTV.
But then the Blu-Ray player is not working. There is no option to select the source as Blu-Ray under Media or anywhere in the Menu option.

Took the car to dealership and they had no clue on this new entertainment system. They diagnosed it and finally said its the issue with the entertainment system software and Chrysler will push Over The Air software update once it is fixed. But they had no clue on the timeline when can I expect the update.
The dealer also not giving any reference on the case ticket for this issue.

Anyone with 2022 Hybrid Pinnacle facing this issue and found a solution ?

You are not alone!

This issue is affecting every 2022 Pacifica that has the BluRay player equipped.

Umm... we may need a class-action lawsuit if they don't fix soon...(that usually gets their attention).

I have an open ticket for this specific issue with Chrysler customer cares, but they have not called me back in the timeframe they said (48 hours).
To help, please call Chrysler Customer Cares and open a ticket. The more calls and complaints they have, the quicker they will fix it.

Call 1-800-992-1997. Please report your findings if they come up with any information.

If anyone discovers a fix in the meantime, please post to let others know, and hopefully we can get a sticky.

I called the Chrysler support and after a long discussion, the support rep didn't acknowledge the existence of such issue and asked to do cold reset of the radio to see if that changes anything. After going thru all those with him over phone, he said looks like there is an issue and said there is a Software fix that's planned for end of first quarter (march), but didn't confirm if that includes the fix for the DVD player issue.

I asked him to raise a case ticket to track this issue and wanted to track this. He raised a case ticket and shared the # with me. Will post here when I have any updates from them.

Go to each individual Amazon fire tv and perform the factory reset. Push the options button on your remote, the go to system. You'll find it. After that, the DVD player magically appears!!!!! Yes!!!!! Thanks to another thread on this site, I just fixed mine an hour ago.

Thanks for the work around to get it work. Is yours 2022 Pinnacle Hybrid ?
When you say option button on your remote, I assume you are referring to the on screen remote (as there is no physical remote with 2022 entertainment system). Please confirm.

There is a FireTV remote for each FireTV screen. There is even a dedicated small pocket to put the remote below the screen.
The remote has a « gear » button to access the configuration menu.

My 2022 Pinnacle Hybrid didn't come with FireTV remote. I got mine in California (US); not sure if that makes a difference.
There was an on-screen virtual remote to navigate though.

Also thanks to @Ltortu for the workaround; I tried the same and now I could see the blu-ray player as input source on each fireTV inputs

We can see the movie from the DVD on the rear screen now but no sound in cabin. Is send only available on a Bluetooth headset? Did your 2022 come with headsets?

2022 no longer come with headsets. Up to 2021 they were using headsets with a proprietary infrared connection, and only these headsets could be used. Starting with 2022 they dropped these and went for a standard bluetooth connection instead, you can use any bluetooth headphones (not included)

Can you hear the rear DVD movie just in headset or can you hear thru radio? If so is there instructions?

I Have been working with unconnect, and they reccommend factory resets of the back seats periodically to keep the bluray up on the screens in back, and the head unit will recognize it the bluray sometimes. i recieved an over the air main head unit update latest main head unit software 24.18, rear seat software ending with 2693 is what mine is running. The front updated on it's own randomly on the 27th or may, the rear seats you can update on your own on check for updates and install. These appear to a temporary fix, hit and miss. Last few days I've been able to retrieve back seat bluray with 1 to 3 restarts (not resets) of the units. It really looks like a signal issue because I notice it works better at time when I eject and re-inset the disc, they system sends a new signal and it finds them. Allegedly uconnect service passed this on to the engineers to investigate. I am hoping they follow these feeds and update things soon, I have a long road trip coming up and would like this going.

Thank you. Okay, that explains why I missed the boat then. I ordered mine on the 4th of November. I have been told that it has been changed to a 2023 but with nothing to confirm that yet. I have decided to put $2500 on tires and brakes on my 2017 limited with 73000 KM so that I would have something to drive until my new one comes in. Thanks

I have an update myself, I got the June 7th update from the dealer, and as I suspected, it was the 24.18 that I had somehow already had pushed over the air for me. So I gained no functionality from a visit to the dealer. That being said, so far, at least one of the 2 screens has been able to recognize the bluray for the last 2 days, which means the front screen does also (if neither have a bluray logo, the front has no access to bluray that i can find) the screens do retain the function to mirror,so my one son can watch the bluray if the other is watching it. Tonight though something happened that to me confirms it's a signal issue. I restarted my left screen with my right screen (and main hub) playing a bluray, the left screen started up, the other 2 screens go green and blue and fuzzy meaning the left screen is joining, then I went down to inputs, the bluray was there for that screen to select on it's own (which is what it should do so you can independently choose to watch bluray). I went and highlighted it, hit ok, and it grayed for a second and disappeared from the inputs, and no movie. This really show it's a low signal, and if I'm you have no signal, no display of the input. You can do all the software updates you want, but if it's physically not getting a signal correctly, it won't display that input. I have forwarded it to unconnect

Check out this thread in the electronics section where I posted a walk-through that's working for me, for now - no telling what the next update brings. Good luck all.
