There are already quite a few threads covering this, but Yes, it is covered. Dealer should either repair or replace hood (seem to be repairing as of late) and will provide loaner vehicle at no charge.

I have a 2017 that has Bubbling paint defect on the edge of the hood. I have not ever seen this. Is everyone getting their defects repaired by Chrysler?

How many times did you have to take it back before they ordered you a new hood? I have gone back twice already.
I just posted the same thing. I'm looking for advice on where to start (besides the dealership). It would appear that this is a well know paint defect. The dealership is going to be your liaison between you and Chrysler. They have to submit any photos and documentation to Chrysler to start your claim.I just posted the same thing. I'm looking for advice on where to start (besides the dealership).
