Hello looking into purchasing the pacifica...

just wondering does this media center not have a CD player?

my son loves his audio books from the library and they only come in CD form..

my wife might think of this as a deal breaker...

yes i know it's a cD player! but it saves her from cranky drives

We listen to CDs via the dash mounted CD/DVD player that came with Uconnect Theater. We listen to audio books too. When you pop in a CD it can be heard on the back seat wireless headphone by default but there is a "Listen In" button on the front screen so the driver can move the audio from headphones to main speakers. The front screen has normal CD controls.

There's also an AUX IN jack if he has a portable CD player.

we are getting the Touring - L with the upgraded 8.4 so the back seats won't have the screens...

I guess one of those little $20 Walmart CD players is his best bet then. Either listen on headphones or if everyone wants to listen in you can plug it into the standard UConnect AUX Jack (see plug #2 thumbnail).
