I wonder, could I use the EVSE that came with my Gen2 2017 Chevy Volt to charge the Pacifica? They're both J1772 connectors, right?

A bigger problem for me is that I need something like this: https://hackaday.io/project/3939-j1772-hydra

it is a ridiculously simple splitting device that could also be an EVSE, yet nobody does it commercially (i think clippercreek has something similar where 2 evse can be put on same line and can communicate to each other, which is a significantly more expensive and cumbersome solution with no plug-in version anyway).

I am thinking of doing it myself, but an UL version would be more preferable of course. No clue why it still is not offered commercially, this should be a no-brainer really. Perhaps manufacturers still can't believe they can make any money on multicar plugin households. I would be fairly impossible for me to charge 2 x 16kw-ish loads over just 6 hrs off peak electricity. The van will be all but guaranteed to completely deplete its battery on a daily basis.

Juicebox EVSE has a function where you can sequence two EVSE's plugged into the same circuit over WiFi, so that they will not consume more than the total capacity of the circuit. I have not investigated in detail, since I still only have one EVSE in the household, but if we get a Pacifica for my wife, then we'll need to ...

I'm wondering the same thing. I'd imagine it should work fine but has anyone here actually tried it?
Yes, it's been confirmed to work fine.
