I don't like using Armor-All, it makes everything shiny and slick. The purpose of using an Armor-All type dressing is to preserve the plastic or vinyl, in other words, keep it looking new. Well nothing on modern cars come from the factory all shined up, everything is matte.
Basically if you put a dressing that shines up your new car, you've made it look like a used car from a used car lot. No thanks. There are plenty of dressings that will protect and clean without leaving a fake shine. I'd go for that.
