Hello,

I have noticed that when we are slightly turning left, we get a quick skipping, vibration, clunk noise in the front end. It’s not the clunk noise of a shock or strut or even tie rod ends. Hard to explain the noise, kind of muffled, but you can feel it in the wheel and your feet. It seems to happen with a slight elevation change as well. Doesn’t happen every day, but it happens a couple times a week.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am thinking it might be tied to the steering in someway?
Any thoughts would be great!

Could be the front struts when they are cold and on a bumpy surface .
It’s going in to my mechanic in a couple days for possibly some warranty work. I will have him check the front end. Someone had mentioned to me strut mounts. But I’m not sure how this would make a consistent rhythm like vibration or shudder for only 1-3 seconds.

Okay. Had a good laugh just based on the post subject. I had just watched a few of those types of "The customer states that..." videos where the issues described by a customer make you face palm on the spot. This reminded me of a video of a guy who complains that his ATV Quad turns off when he turns to the right. A carabiner added onto the key was getting caught and turning the key off when he turned right. I'm not making light of anything here. But when someone shoves 15 tennis balls into the coil springs rather than a shock absorber... I laugh.

Yesterday my wife and I test drove a Touring L and on uneven bumps, as in only one side, the suspension was making clunking and squelching sounds. It was very noticeable as the radio was off and the salesman was not talking at that moment. I know suspension travel makes noises, rubbing and some squeaking are normal, but this was odd for a new vehicle. We're test driving a Limited at a different dealer today, I'm hoping it doesn't repeat.

Edit: The limited was great, very quiet and smooth.
