I bought my 2017 Pacifica in December 2017. I immediately noticed a noise while reversing that sounded like a clunk/creak noise while reversing with my wheel turned to the far right. It happened every so often so I did not take it to the dealership right away. The sounds became more frequent so I decided to take it to the dealership the following May. The could never recreate the sound. I showed them videos of the van making the noise and they decided a rotor should be changed. The sound is only on the driver side, by the way. Anyway, after the rotor being changed the sound continued. After my car being at the dealership for over 2 weeks they told me they couldn’t help me. I ended up taking it to another dealership that repacked the other rotor. The noise remains and guess what, my van is now over 37,000 miles. Because there is documentation showing this issue began almost a year ago van will my van be covered under warranty?

It kinda sounds like the V15 recall but your 2017 should predate that. Do you know your date of manufacture? According to Chrysler the recall only affects those built from Nov 2017 to Feb 2018, but who knows how accurate that actually is.

It’s probably the lower control arm on your driver side. We had the same issue that took along time to resolve. They damaged the strut when working on it and took another two months to resolve. However, it’s been quiet for several months now.

Hi Amieejo87,
We are sorry to hear about this continued squeaking concern. Have you recently brought your vehicle to the dealership for a diagnostic? Please send us a private message with more details so we can look into this further.

Did you get resolution? Our 2017 is creaking and poping pretty badly and the dealership wants to replace a lot of things...

I had similar symptoms and after long journey of replacing parts, they found out that noise came from front barake supports. After replacing those, now it is fine.

I had similar symptoms on driver's side. Diagnosed today as a bad sway bar bushing. They had to special order a new sway bar & bushings.

The sway bar & bushings did not fix my issue. As I was pulling out of the dealership on Friday it was making the same noises.

I dropped it off again this morning & mentioned the brake supports that Martin brought up. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of it this time.

*Edit: They replaced the lower control arm & it seems the noise is gone.

Interesting. I have had the same noise. They replaced the lower control arm, the noise remained. They replaced the sway bar end links and both struts.
