Hello to our Chrysler Brand enthusiasts--

We've been monitoring your concerns and wanted to inform you of a recent Customer Satisfaction Notification [CSN] Z76 that was released in regard to the Electric Vehicle Mode being unavailable on select 2021 Chrysler Pacifica PHEVs.

The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) may erroneously set DTC P0E15 (Hybrid-EV Battery Pack Coolant Heater A Control Performance). When this DTC is set, the Plug-In Hybrid portion of the powertrain will be inoperative.

If you believe this CSN applies to you and you would like additional assistance alongside your dealer visit, please don't hesitate to send our team a private message. We'd be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns that you might have.

Thank you!

Hello Chrysler Cares,
I have a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Plus in 2018.
The check engine light came up with the code POE 15.
The dealer wanted to charge me a $205 for check it.
After checked it, he recommended to change the Battery Heater with $1130.
I told him maybe Factory Warranty would have cover for that problem but he didn’t answer me.
My car has one recall. I asked to do recall first maybe fix the check engine light but customer service told me that he couldn’t do recall with check engine. Is it true???
Please let me know what could I tell them.
Thank you very much.

Factory warranty should cover it.. specifically the hybrid warranty. Yet another dealer who apparently doesn't know how to properly check warranty coverage.
Please let me know how could I talk to dealer.
Thank you

I'm gonna be frank with you. I fought ww3 over my 2017 Bolt EV's AC compressor and I'm not exaggerating that. Here is what happened. GM said "Whatever the dealer says goes WE TRUST THEM 100%!!!!!". Dealer said "nope not covered only under the bumper to bumper".

I said - "I literally had 3 GM techs on our facebook page tell me the exact coverage code, the literal print out from the warranty book, and the documents GM provided the federal gov showing it's covered"

Dealer- "That is only for THOSE states" - Me: "Face palm"

The only way I got it covered on that car was I spoke with the head of all dealers for my state and and yelled at them because he said they didn't run the codes properly and forced them to give me my money back.

With that said
In our manuals it literally states it's covered for 10 years or 100k miles. Whether they will actually LISTEN to that I don't know. I can tell you Chrysler Cares will 9/10 tell you to pound sand just like the GM reps did me. Who knows maybe you'll get one that actually does care.

I will tell you CHRYSLER DOESN’T CARE and will continue to give you the runaround. I had a 2021 Pacifica Hybrid that was an electrical nightmare that Chrysler Cares didn’t care about me, my vehicle, or my dealership, who were absolutely great, but Chrysler was worthless. I got rid of the Pacifica and I’m the proud owner of a new Subaru Ascent! Subaru Cares!

My check engine light just came on for this the day before going into the dealer for this recall. The dealer did the recall and reset the check engine light but drove off and the check engine light came back on and the car has been going into Hybrid mode when it shouldn't. The dealer said to wait for the code to clear and drive about 100 miles. Is this accurate? Is something else wrong?
