Today my wife was driving the van and all these lights and beeping started happening. What could cause this? How do I fix it?

If you vehicle has Ess , your vehicle is equipped with 2 batteries . Many posts on here about these small batteries and their life cycles ( usually 3-5 yrs ) and I’m assuming your over the 5 yr part . Have somebody , dealer , auto zone , mechanic , test the batteries independently and you’ll see what battery has been feeding off the other .

Failing batteries can result in all sorts of codes being thrown that can't be trusted.
Armchair mechanic here. Have you ever had the Service Shifter message? That code indicates communication problems on the CAN bus and specifically an inability to determine which position the gear shift selector is in. I’ve seen discussion of fixing such problems by reseating the communication cables from the various components to the comms hub. Not sure exactly where it is located, but behind the dash and I think more passenger side. Some googling may help, I know I’ve seen previous discussions on the topic.
Trust Canadahybridguy and PacificaMinivanFan here these vans are known to have weird issues when the batteries are not performing properly. Mine died at a traffic light had to reset it to OFF and then restart it. I was getting "Service Shifter" and ESS not available. Turned out the AUX battery had failed. It's been over a year now without a repeat. Just make sure to disconnect the batteries and have them load tested. A simple voltage check is not enough.

update we got the small battery replaced, everything is still happening. Dodge wants to charge me $250+ to run a diagnostic test. I’m kinda sick of this van and it’s problems.
The small battery is only used when the engine is stopped during the ESS cycle. It is the main battery that would be throwing all these false error messages if it was failing. Did you get the main battery tested?
