Test drove one on Saturday the 17th. They had one I was considering at a sister dealership but I noticed the window sticker didn't have the crash rating. Today he called and said they got notice they are being recalled and can't sell them until they are fixed for the door issue. I did't find any announcements of a recall so don't know if he was making it up or not.

Did he say that the door issue was for crash worthiness? There's a TSB for adjusting the sensitivity of the the auto-reversing side doors. Is it possible that's what he was talking about?

Hi LloydC,

There is currently no active recall for the sliding doors, but there is a technical service bulletin that was released November 5 to correct the door not reversing immediately.

It was regarding the driver door on Pacificas made before September that didn't pass the IIHS small overlap crash test because the door opened during the crash test. I guess he made it up to get me to buy something else.
