I'm looking into getting next Minivan and decision is coming down between two options
2017 Pacifica Touring & 2016 Ody EX-L.
Pricing I'm getting for 2017 Pacifica Touring is $26000 brand new here in upstate NY, wherease for 2016 Ody EX-L with 6000 miles on it price I'm getting is $28700. With 2018 rolling out in showrooms soon, I think there will be price pressure on both vehicles.
I've driven Ody in past and had no issues with it apart from routine maintenance, wife is leaning towards Ody, she thinks its more reliable compared to Chrysler based upon past experience. Whereas I feel Pacifica offers better value.
Which one is better pick ? Or should I wait a month and then decide ?

Well, you're asking for opinions in a Pacifica forum so you can bet that what you get will be biased towards the Pacifica. Do your research and check out the Odyclub forums as there's a wealth of information there from current owners. Honda has a reputation for quality/reliability that I'm not so sure that they deserve as of late. I came from a '13 EX-L and experienced quite a few of the common issues with the vehicle such as misaligned panels/gaps & the warped brake rotors. While there are plenty of folks that like it, I wasn't a fan of the VCM and avoided the potential issues with a VCMuzzler, but I shouldn't have to buy & install a product that might void my warranty to protect myself from potential catastrophic engine failure and accelerated engine mount wear. Honda has made improvements to their trannys but you may want to keep on top of changing out that fluid more frequently than recommended just to be safe. The middle row seats are WAY more comfortable than the Pacs and offer some forward/backward adjustment so if you don't need to remove them too often that is a huge plus. Also has more interior room for packing for a road trip which is nice. But like I said, do your research and enjoy whatever you ultimately decide on since you really can't go wrong with either.

I know you're looking at a more basic model, but the PacHybrid I have has 2nd row removable seats equivalent or better than the Ody in terms of comfort, and also have forward/back adjustment.
+1 on the mediocre Ody reliability as of late. Crossing my fingers with the Chrysler Pac coming from an Ody, but I had plenty of issues (some resolvable) that I had to deal with so I have no regrets thus far.
