Santa brought me a pair of inflatable kayaks. Wondering if anyone has experience using the tire inflator for pumping up recreational things. Manual says it's cool and they even include the adapters but I think it just mentioned beach balls and inner tubes not 10' long 2-person kayaks. I've had 12V inflators that lasted for decades of heavy use (my grandparents Sears) and some that barely finished blowing up the first thing I used them on. (Stanley jumpstarter with inflator)

I'd hate to use it for inflating fun stuff and not have it be able to fill a tire along the road somewhere, but if it's a good one then I won't worry. Haven't had an along-the-road flat but once, and that was me doing stupid teenager stuff. Plenty of slow leaks but I plug those at home when I get around to it.

Haven't used it yet, but if it is like most others like it, it is pretty good at filling tires (low volume, high pressure), and pretty bad at filling large volume/low pressure things.
