I think this feature is only on the Limited models. I have this feature turned on so that when I turn the Pacifica off the drivers seat will go all the way back for the "easy exit". When you get in to turn the Pacifica back on it will go back to the memory 1 or 2 setting depending on what fob you have with you. Every once in a while I would turn the Pacifica off and the seat would go all the way back, but then goes forward again. I emailed my contact and here is the answer:

Damon,

There is a fix out there for the issue you found on the easy exit seat. Just have the dealer reference the two numbers below to perform the update. Just went in the system so they should have visibility sometime next week.

Yeah, mine has that issue sometimes too. Thanks for the reference numbers because I just know the service department would say "we can't reproduce the problem" or "that's normal".

I got use to the easy exit seats that we had on our Mountaineer and Avalanche, but my wife no longer drives we have no need for the memory seats, but i still miss them going back by themselves. My solution is to release the steering wheel before getting out. It raises just enough to make it easy to exit and get back in. It saved me from having to buy a Limited just to get memory seats..
