Leasing 2018 Pacifica. After vehicle was delivered to our home, noticed the rear UConnect screens would not turn on, and UConnect theater button on front screen was unresponsive. Took vehicle back to dealership, they said system required a new "module" that was replaced. Inconsistent issues with theater screens persisted, working fine one day and not the next. Also had two instances of rear view camera coming on when driving 40 mph, and then rear view camera also turning off while in reverse and backing down driveway. Took back to dealership,they said some wires required cleaning, but inconsistent issues persisted when vehicle was taken back home. Took back once again, and dealer told us that field tech from Chrysler said it was simply a "common computer problem" where computer systems sometimes freeze up and need a reboot. They refused to make any further repairs until issue became more consistent and repeatable.

36 hours after getting vehicle back from dealer again, woke up this morning to completely dead battery. No lights, no action on attempted start, doors would not open. Jumped the car once, and as soon as jumper cables were removed the engine cut off. Jumped again, allowed idling with cables attached for longer period of time, and car remained running when cables were removed. But the engine was idling at 1500-2000 rpm, the traction control was on and dash icon illuminated even though that hadn't been the case before, and it wouldn't allow me to turn it off. A message says the ESS cannot be engaged because the cabin is being heated or cooled (haven't seen that at any point previously even though temps have been pretty cold here for 2 weeks), but even after idling for 10 minutes and driving for another 10 the message did not go away. After a short drive around I put the car in park, and then because of the high idle, when shifting to drive the car jumped forward rather than accelerating slowly/smoothly. When coming back to park in the garage, could feel slight little jump in engine (could be felt by foot near pedals and as I was sitting in driver seat). Idle was still at 1700 rpm, clearly louder and not a smooth idle as we've previously noticed with vehicle.

Obviously I'll be contacting the dealer...again. But just wondering if anyone has had something similar, if we just chalk this up to some electronic malfunction, and any guidance on what to do from this point when the dealership tells me they've been told from Chrysler higher-ups that they can't fix anything until problems with screens/functionality is more regular.

Wow. Sounds like my dealer. That's a serious problem, to drain a battery on an otherwise new car. What's the reading on the voltage on the battery? You were able to jump it, and perhaps its changing fine, but perhaps you need to have that addressed by the dealer too, as cold weather will stress a battery further.
