Hello all! I have driven minivans for years - all used. Ford Windstar, Mercury Villager, Plymouth Voyager, Dodge Grand Caravan, and T&C Touring. I ordered my Pacifica Limited on 8/1. Waiting impatiently for delivery (ETA 10/1)! Tried to use the vehicle order tracking system - no luck. But at least I have a VIN.

Welcome to the forum. I was told it may take 8-12 weeks but mine actually took only 5 weeks and 1 day from original factory order placement to arrival at my dealer 25 miles south of Houston. Good luck!

I orderd a limited on 8/1 as well. Be interesting to see when we get them in. Who gave you your VIN #? My dealer said that Chrysler only processes orders the second Tuesday or Thursday of each month (which would be today). So i assumed VIN and order information would still be unavailable.

Hi All, Thanks for the warm welcome. I received my VIN and VON from my dealer. I called Chrysler today and they said my vehicle was in stage D1 - all materials gathered and ready for build. Odd thing - I ordered Dark Cordovan Pearl and the representative said it was Mocha Java. She said the paint color doesn't always have the same name as the marketed color. She also said stage C through D1 usually takes 3 weeks (today is 9 days since I ordered). I called 1-800-334-9200. If you call you will need your vehicle order number or last 8 of the VIN. The rep said they are available 24 hours/day and to call every day if I wanted to...a weekly call is likely good.

I ordered the Limited model - dark cordovan pearl with black/deep mocha interior (was going to go with black/alloy but the sills were white). Sunroof instead of 8th seat, spare instead of vacuum, tow group package, emergency kit group, interior protection package, splash guards, $1995 Uconnect and engine block heater. I chose to go with snow tires instead of the 20" tires (adding snows on the 20" would mean a new set of wheels also), the $2795 Uconnect isn't necessary for my purposes nor is the advanced safety tec group - both are expensive options.

Have fun!

I ordered mine on 7/28/2016 and I have a VIN# as of 8/11. The Pacifica factory was actually shut down for two weeks for summer break and they restarted the line on 8/8/2016. I was told my actual build date was 8/10/2016 and my contact would let me know when it actually ships. I am excited and can't wait. Will be #31 and I sold my 2014 Town and Country the day I ordered the Pacifica, so I am driving slow in my 85 Caravan....I ordered a loaded Limited in Tusk White with Black / Alloy interior.

Update on mine.......it is to be built on 9/6/16 as the plant came back on but they are going to finish out the current MY Grand Caravan.....I really can't wait, but good things come to those who wait! Already have accessories I have ordered in my dining room. Tusk white is going to be a low production color and with Alloy int I think most are gonna pic the mocha, so I hope mine is gonna not be seen everywhere. I am going to have all the chrome blacked out. I like being unique.

How did you get a date of when it is going to be built? The only update I've been getting from Chrysler the past few weeks is that my order is in D1 status which they say means all parts are there and it's waiting to be built, but they can't give me dates

The plant is currently building pacificas and has been both before and after the shutdown. I think your paint color is what may be delaying you a tad.

Can I please send you my vin to find out my status? Or can you hook me up to your contact?
You can call the 800-334-9200 and press 1 then press 2, give the guy the last 8 digits. The ship date is your build date. Very nice and helpfull. Open 24-7

No, they had the 2 weeks summer break, then coming back online on 8/8/16 they are working on the 2016 Grand Caravan. Yes, i know they have been building both, but I am going on what the contact said that is over the marketing and development of the Pacifica.
