I bought a base LX with no options other than that nice destination fee. I wanted a replacement vehicle for my work and have started a few mods to suite my needs. Because I don't haul people the 2nd and 3rd rows will never be up so I installed the mopar rear vinyl mat to protect the carpet (I haul wheelchairs).
I have already installed a four port USB in the center stack that is 10A total so 2.5A per port. I charge two iPhones, iPad and Bluetooth headset all at the same time. I wired it to be on all the time so it never shuts off like the factory ports until I turn it off with a switch for the weekend.
I also wired in a 1000W inverter so I can charge my laptop and any power wheelchairs or my power tools in the field. Also direct power (these are fused properly).
I also installed my portable Sirius satellite radio, I don't have Uconnect or sat in vehicle but this has a lifetime sub that I've had for 12 years and I like the way it pauses vs the factory setup I have in my '16 Ram. Mounted it in front of the vent (I don't notice the loss of airflow if any) and my cell phone mag mount is below it. I turn my personal phone sideways and use as NAV and I ran a charge wire through the dash and out to plug into the multi outlet.
I ran the sat antenna out around the fender and up the windshield cavity and its mag mounted in the corner. Even through car washes the wiring stays put and I really forget the ant is there.
I took some pics tonight but will get more this weekend in the daylight.

So far I've had her 3 months and 9k miles. I'm down to 12% on oil life so gonna get the oil changed tomorrow. She has been great so far (previous was an 08 Grand Caravan with 260k miles). Has a lifetime fuel mileage of 25.2mpg and that is a lot of traffic jams. I'll hit 33-34mpg on the freeway.

I bought it for 22k and financed .9% for those that wondered what the base van costs.

My next mods I have bought but haven't installed are a cell phone booster, remote start and the large center screen to replace my small screen with the limited gauge cluster. Found a salvage limited to strip the parts out of. I like the fancy dash but didn't need all the power mess in the back for my wheelchairs to enjoy. Lol I'll tell ya I do wish for a power lift gate sometimes and the key sense is only drivers side so I have to use the fob when I get stuff out of the passenger side.

Cost of mods so far..
$20 for the 4port USB
$80 for the inverter
$15 for cell phone mount
Sat I can't remember but I think is was $500 lifetime 12 years ago
$160 for the mat
$400 large touch screen with module
$200 limited gauge cluster
$240 remote start with two new key fobs
$300 cell phone booster

Waiting to install the screen and cluster with the remote start in case I have to get more than one thing programmed (remote start has to be programmed) so I only have to pay the dealer once.

Hi Razorbackfan. I am VERY interested in your future posts

$400 large touchscreen with module
$200 Limited gauge cluster
Are both of these items from the salvaged Limited? Can you post pictures? What is "with module"?

Let us know how many quarts of oil yours takes. Some of us take 5qts (like manual states) some need 6qts.

Interesting post!

The 8.4" touchscreen has a separate brain so it's two pieces where the brain(module) mounts behind the screen has all the connections and there is one cable that connects the screen. Not sure why they split this particular unit for the Pacifica as all the other 8.4" are one piece. Now I only have my 2016 Ram to go by on is so 2017s might be different.
Yes the parts are from a wrecked limited and they are being shipped to me so I'll take pics once I have them. The dash should be plug and play but the 8.4" touchscreen might be a bit trickier but it's worth a shot to see what happens.

It's real hit and miss on getting the parts though. You have to check in every couple weeks to see if they have the parts as they strip the vehicles first and sell the parts.

re: the MOPAR rear mat...

I had purchased this a year ago for mine, and while I didn't find the VERY thin vinyl useful on its own, I DID use it as a pattern/template for me to cut a durable, commercial-grade dark gray Berber carpet remnant to exact-fit (and had them apply binding to the edges)... and THEN used the MOPAR vinyl mat UNDERNEATH that carpet to prevent all that flakey carpet backing stuff from soiling the factory carpet.

The MOPAR liner alone (to me) is way-too-thin and flimsy to be of much use. It seems like it'd tear/stretch with ease.

This is also the impression i got from looking at it, and while its the right shape it doesn't look OEM/finished.

I think I'd probably be ok with a universal roll-up rubber or thicker plastic/vinyl mat that just went from the back of the first row all the way to the end of the car ( in case I were to move something large that might hack up or get the carpet dirty. I wonder if anyone has gone this route.

Sorry I've been off the site for awhile, I am still using it after almost a year and it's still perfect. Protects really well actually. The only thing I don't like is my old grand caravan version had clips that held it in place where this just sits in the carpet. So sometimes my wheelchairs will wrinkle it up every so often.

Do you still have it? I too did not like that the mopar liner was thin, so I never purchased, but I too wanted to make a template......did you sell the mopar one?

I'm interested in how you wired the inverter? I need one to power the Smartdrive on my wheelchair. I currently have a T&C with a 120 outlet, but will be picking up a Limited next week.

Thanks!
