I went to have a clear bra installed today a long with some vinyl work on the chrome trim and the installer advised I take the car to a body shop for a second opinion and then to the dealer to discuss the issue, he installed a clear bra last week on another Pacifica and didn’t notice any of these issues.

Under the headlights the gap is so tight it’s causing the paint to chip, the bumper can be pushed in further under the headlights but doesn’t latch for whatever reason. The lines are off near the fenders and the paint is peeling on each side, I’ve contacted the dealer and am waiting for a reply, my initial thoughts is it was damaged and replaced while on the lot, it had 24 or 42 miles on it when I bought it, I’ve now got 1150 miles in 2 months.

Mine looks exactly the same as your Bumper4 pic. Dealer took photos and submitted them to Chrysler. Still haven’t heard back. It’s been a couple weeks. There’s some parts on backorder for a recall and another repair I’m waiting to come in. When they call me in for that I’ll inquire again.

Keep me posted on what happens, curious to see if we get similar answers, I’ve spoke with the GM of the dealer where I purchased the van and he stated due to the timeframe, 2 months of owning the van that it would be an uphill battle with Chrysler to get them to cover it. What bothers me the most is that I can’t install my clear bra yet, I waited almost a month for my appointment and then I notice this. I’ve forwarded a link to this thread to Darlene from Chrysler Cares, I haven’t heard back from her yet.

Hi manoli,

Please send us a PM with your VIN and mileage so that we can investigate this further and see if there is any additional information that we can provide.

Just an update. After reaching out to Chrysler Cares they got in touch with my dealership and requested the dealer take specific photos to send in to the warranty department. Chrysler had a dedicated rep reaching out to me with regular updates throughout the whole process. Last week they approved the warranty work and I dropped the van off yesterday morning for three days. Chrysler approved a rental van while its in the body shop. I spoke with the manager at the body shop and he told me he just did two other Pacifica’s with the same exact problem.

Hey ChryslerCares, my minivan has a similar issue with bumper alignment on the corners. I'll take some pictures tomorrow. The paint is rubbing off from poor alignment.

hate to revive an old thread, but I'm having a similar problem with my 2019 on the drivers side. The clips don't hold under the headlight. Have you had any luck with the dealer?

Hey there @stanaka1, I have a similar issue where the paint is peeling off. Here is a photo. Were you able to get this fixed?

It took a while, but yeah, I was able to get the bumper replaced. It looks like the bumper is misaligned with the fender and caused the paint to rub/peel off. Hopefully your dealer will see it the same way. If one place says no, go to another. That's what I had to do.

Have a 2019 Pacifica and bumper is coming loose around drivers side headlight. This is not what I would expect from a 50k dollar vehicle with 22k on it.
