From pg 445 of the Manual:
"Underhood Fuses
The Power Distribution Center is located in the engine compartment near the battery. This center contains cartridge fuses, mini-fuses, micro-fuses, circuit breakers and relays. A label that identifies each component is printed on the inside of the cover."

I always keep an emergency set of fuses in my vehicles, so went looking under the hood to see what I need to purchase.
Take a look at the pics
No spares, and at least (5) different styles. The electrical engineers should be shot!
Never seen one with 3 contact blades before either.
Can someone translate ATO vs ATC vs mini-ATC vs micro for me please?
Recommendations on what to purchase?

I don't have a helpful response but please post when you figure out what is an appropriate set of spares.

Aren't the ones labeled on the diagram as "Service Spares" spare fuses?
Looks like there are 5 of the two-contact and 2 of the 3-contact in those "Service spares" section.

And here's the handy fuse replacement guide.

I'm a referee, so am blind, but I'll check later this week. Yes, the Service Spares area looks like blade type spares.

USB Power Port

The front lower USB on the floor can be switched between being powered only in ACC/Run mode (factory position), to direct-always-on from the battery.

Fuse panel is underneath the hood on the drivers side, by the windshield.

Fuse F95 has 2 positions A & B. F95A is the factory default ACC/Run power option. By moving the 10A fuse to the F95B position, you can have always on battery power. Very simple, do not need to bring to dealer to perform this upgrade.

Man - I love this forum! I had read about this option in the manual, figured it was something simple, but dreaded having to go to the dealer to get it done.

Now - 3 minutes after reading the post, my USB port is always hot!

(For those of you about to do this, the helpful pictures kindly posted by dabrandt22 have been flipped - ie, taken from the passenger side. When you are standing on the driver's side looking down at the fuse box, look in the area of the corner nearest you and the windshield. A few wiggles with your finger and it comes right out)

Spare Fuses

Completed some research on Spare Fuses, and purchasing of the required not-included spares.

Please see attached picture, which hopefully is self explanatory. The fuse panel does include Service Spares for the ATL MicroIII and ATR MicroII fuses.

Autozone did not carry the Littelfuse MCase and LP (low profile) JCase cartridge fuses, so I ordered via E-Bay.

Littelfuse part # 00940559ZPA will get you an assortment with all of the MCase fuses. I found it on E-Bay for $8 shipped.

I ended up buying more spare 40A and 60A LP JCase cartridge fuses than I need, so PM me if interested in saving yourself some time and $'s.

Spare Fuses

Is there a complete list of recommended spare fuses somewhere for the Pacifica? In looking at the fuse box under the hood there are multiple types and amperage.

Is there a fuse buss inside the cabin? I am going to hardwire my dash cam which I bought a seperate fuse splicer kit.

No interior fuse panel. Do a forum search as there is already a thread about this topic. People suggest tapping into the 12v power supply to from of floor console.

If you're not drawing more than an amp or so, the pink wire going to the rearview mirror is 12V switched.

Did anyone ever compile a complete list of spare fuses? I finally got my big box of assorted MCASE fuses to add to my previous two variety packs, but I am looking to pare it down to essentials.

Many, many thanks for this great info,D B.

Had to get out from under my TIPM eating, kept-mint 2011 TnC (dealer said it was the nicest car he's ever seen with 100k miles) and replaced it with a '17 Pacifica just yesterday........but.............unlike the TnC, the Pacifica's USB isn't full time hot.

Who lives without an always hot USB? That's like wiring your bilge pumps to only come on with the key instead of from a flooding threat....hah ha.

Many thanks again for allowing me to dodge the dealer bullet of 125.00 per hour to accomplish this simple adjustment.

Anyone who protects someone from the drooling greed of a dealership service fee deserves a genuine.....YOU ARE THE MAN......acknowledgment.

Does anyone know if switching the USB to auto on includes a trip if the battery gets too low?

For instance, if I run my dashcam, and haven't driven in a while, will the battery drain until dead?
