How did you conclude that the original poster has version 38.4?

Also, what makes you think that versions which are applied to 2020 hardware would be in the same sequence as software for 2018 hardware?

There's an update that updates the Uconnect to 40.1 from 38.4 which looks like the version you have.

Oh - the screen shot where it says "34.4.0" (not 38.4...)? Which is the same as my display showed following the (very) recent OTA update.

If you look at the screenshot after JR on the application version. That's the version number. Also, from what I know the 2018 to 2020 has the uconnect 4 with the 8.4 screen. I believe the 2021 and above are on the uconnect 5 so software version should be relatively the same.
