I am glad I found this thread. My 2018 Pacifica Limited also exhibit the list GPS signal issue. I only noticed it after the clock started being off by 3 minutes and then did not switch to DST. I stopped using the build-in NAV in favor of CarPlay a while ago so I had not even realized that my NAV had quit working. Software Update for Uconnect® - Check For Updates says the vehicle has the latest s/w. From the posts here is seems pm-ing @ChryslerCares is the best path forward. So, I do this next.

My 2018 Limited Hybrid has also started having GPS no signal issues. The clock is incorrect, and the WiFi hotspot is not working either. Resetting everything has not solved it. Of course the website says my software is up to date, and I'm a few thousand miles past the warranty. 😔 It seems like this is getting to be a fairly common issue, judging by all of the posts here and in other forums I have seen. I have not checked in with the dealer yet, but I guess I will be doing so in the next few weeks.

It's almost like Chrysler wants to make the car less and less useful so we have to upgrade to a new model? 😂😂😂 First I can't charge it or put it in the garage due to the hybrid recall, and now I can't use the GPS or Hotspot! What next!?

Hi, it sounds like your Uconnect system needs to be updated. The free files for software level 18.45.01 are currently available on driveUconnect.com. I would recommend checking if this update is available for your vehicle. If so, you will be able to download the software to a USB and update your vehicle at home. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Tried doing an update but only got the message that I didn't need an update. I am having the same problem with my 2018 Pacifica. I did a reset and I did a navigation upgrade. the reset didn't work and the upgrade told me my system did not need an upgrade. My home is in Malibu but UConnect has me located in the Sonoran Desert in Mexico.

I have a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. My GPS is not working correctly. I tried to enter my VIN at:


The Chrysler site said that my vehicle is up to date. My vehicle is not up to date and I need the update. Could someone from the Chrysler Care Team help me out?

This is my problem exactly. Chrysler just can;t seem to get it right. Cqn't tell you ho3 to fix the bug. the dealers don't know how to fix it either.

Mine shows me in the Chesapeake Bay, I assume under water.
Only 'cure' is replacement of radio unit - not something I'll consider since I am out of warranty.

See thread here GPS no Satellites Post #32 details the problem that the failed aircard causes when the dealer tries the update. This matches what a local dealer told me as well, that 90% of the time they brick the unit trying to update. So searching the web, I found this thread fixed Uconnect and the details of the Sierra Wireless Airprime AR7552 card that failed. davidcarm_0 didn't have any cards, but yeroelecomm did. I ordered it and had it shipped to a friend in the US, and another friend who was visiting brought it back to Calgary for me. Just swapped out the Airprime cards and my nav is now showing me where I am. I'm waiting to see if it will perform any updates now that the wireless card is working.

Hello,

I'm having a similar problem to many people where my GPS isn't working (shows me in the middle of a field), clock auto-syncing leading to the wrong time, and the driveuconnect site telling me that there is no update available for my 2018 Pacifica. It also has never saved the display setting to show temperature in Celcius on the uconnect screen (it always shows in F when I start the car).

It's my understanding that I need to post first so that I can send a private message to @ChryslerCares with my VIN to maybe enable an update?

I have the same problem. 2018 pacifica limited. My navigation shows my vehicle about 100 miles north of where i actually am. I have checked the uconnect site and the map updates site and they both say i have the most up to date stuff. @ChryslerCares Is there anything you can do for me or point me in the right direction? I have only had the van 2 weeks and the original owners had it before me.

My 2018 Chrysler Pacifica my display where it shows the direction your going shows the opposite. If I'm heading South it shows North if I'm going North it shows South etc. No matter what address I put in the navigation it always gives me directions to a address by Milwaukee. Very frustrated I use my GPS for my work.

@ChryslerCares I'm a new member so I can't send a private message. But I'm having the same issue. GPS stopped working, it still seems to show an accurate speed and direction, just places us in Canada instead of Michigan....

My local dealership looked at it and told me it would be $1000 for a new radio. This forum seems to suggest a reboot/install/update might make the difference. Can someone contact me about this?

I have never read that a reboot totally solved the GPS problem. The only 100% sure solution that I am aware of is the replacement with a "new" or rebuilt radio along with an update to the current software.

@ChryslerCares I am also have this same issue with my 2019 Pacifica. Due to damage from a storm back in January, a lot of work was done to my hybrid and I just got the car back a couple weeks ago. I first noticed that the history for tracking miles for the hybrid is off by a day, and not accurate. I also noticed that the compass is off and today I realized that the Navigation has me in Delaware, when I live in Virginia. I checked the website and it says my software is up to date…but I am seeing some conflicting information as I read through this forum. Any insight would be appreciated.

We do not suggest using the Direct Uconnect link at the moment to check your software level. If you can send us a PM with your VIN, along with a photo of your Uconnect software information, we'd be happy to look into this further for you.

To do this, put your vehicle into the ON or ACC position and perform the following –

On your Uconnect touchscreen, simultaneously press and hold the lower left and lower right icon for 10 seconds.
OR, simultaneously press and hold hard buttons. Driver up Temp – Driver Down Temp - Front Defrost.
