My 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L that does not have the heated steering wheel equipped just had the icon appear on the 7-inch Uconnect screen. The steering wheel does heat up, but there was no mention of heated steering wheel upon purchase of the vehicle. The question is do all 2015+ Mopar steering wheels come factory equipped with the ability to heat up and the button is just added to the climate controls when the user selects some sort of cold weather package? Or did a recent update allow all steering wheels to become heated?

I believe that for the 2019 model year the heated steering wheel was included as a standard option on the Touring L trim along with some other items.

On 2017-2018 models, only the Touring L Plus and Limited trims came with a heated steering wheel. It was added as standard equipment for Touring L trim and became an option for Touring Plus trim as part of the Cold Weather Package in 2019. No, not all Mopar steering wheels are heated or have a heating element in them.
