Looked at a '21 former rental today in the +59K range. Had a higher idle at startup then I'd expect in any car. Around 1,200. Any thoughts?

That seems normal to me, especially if it's a cold start.

Yup.

As others has mentioned, that seems normal. Normally if it's cold engine will have a higher RPM and the active grille will be closed as well.
