Hello!
I'm so happy to have found this forum. I have been geeking out with happiness and reading my Pacifica manual front to back. I love finding out all the little "Easter Eggs" hidden in this van. I love the little umbrella holder with the smiling sun on the driver and passenger door sides. Our salesperson at Chrysler didn't even know about it.
I previously owned a 2003 Honda Odyssey van and just gave it up to upgrade to a less lived in look. I loved my van, even though it was beginning to look it's age, especially on the inside. But many fond memories of family road trips and day-to-day life with 2 kids still made it hard to part with.
Thinking that we would move on to an SUV, after comparing comfort and price we decided that a minivan was still the right fit for us. 7and 8 seater SUV's were at least another 20K more that a well outfitted van.
At first I was insistent on another Odyssey, due to their safety rating (best of all the minivans by both agencies). However, after test driving the Sienna, Odyssey and the Pacifica, I was blown away by the Chrysler. Since this is all-new design, I'm counting on it to at least match the current Odyssey safety level.
We settled on the Dark Cordovan Touring L Plus/ with Cognac/Alloy/Toffee interior 7 seater with Entertainment Pkg and all the Advanced SafetyTec driving features.
This seems like a great place to learn more about the Pacifica, and it's fun to "meet" others that are as excited about their new car.

p.s. I posted pics in the thread asking for pics of each color.
