How do you know if ANC is actually working?

anyone have any idea as to how to figure out (short of a dealer testing the system) whether the automatic noise cancellation system actually does anything? is there any way to disable the system to see if there's a difference?

Seems to me that if the system is an important feature and touted in their advertising, FCA would have put an "on/off" switch somewhere so customers could hear the diff?
