Does anyone have info on how to remove rustproof overspray ? The van was rustproofed by
the local dealer and its backed by FCA for any rust warranty. When they applied it to the top of
the tailgate, they managed to get it along the top of the roof. Not sure what product they actually
use, but i was told its similar to a wax type substance, it has a light yellow colour to it. Is anyone has ideas, and without damaging the paint.

Yes i am gonna try a heat gun and some goo goo gone, and if that doesnt work. I will stopping by the
dealership to get it off. Hopefully they dont damage the clear and paint as a result of it.

At least if they do any damage getting it off, they'll have to fix it. Whereas if you do any damage, they probably won't cover it.

The first thing I would try would be a clay bar. Much more effective than goo gone and less risky than the heat gun.
