Hybrid Ride comfort and bounce

We just got a Pacifica hybrid Platinum with the 18" Michelin Premier A/S tires. The driving dynamics of the vehicle is great, but we notice that as a passenger you feel the road bumps more then usual. We came from a 2014 Odyssey whose driving dynamics weren't nearly as good, but as a passenger it was less bouncy. It cushioned the road a bit more. Thoughts?

I feel less road bumps with our Hybrid with 18s.

But I've been driving a Sienna SE for the last 8 years so the ride is a bit stiffer and is on 19s with lower profile tires.
