As with all launches, but particularly in the case of this technically advanced vehicle, we are taking great care to ensure that the Pacifica Hybrid comes off the line with the highest quality possible. We will only introduce a vehicle when we are fully satisfied the vehicle meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid vehicles will start shipping to dealers on Monday, April 17. We will update the forum with any relevant information as it becomes available. Please direct any individual customer inquiries to Chrysler Customer Care at 1-800-247-9753. We will also begin monitoring the forum under the username “ChryslerOfficial” for any general questions. Thank you for your patience as we work to bring you America’s first ever hybrid minivan.

Thanks for the info!

I have a general question about the Pacifica Hybrid- Chrysler is saying that the Pac Hybrid can "pre-condition" the interior so it can be cooled or heated before the driver gets in the vehicle for use (essentially a version of remote start). If the Pac Hybrid is connected to a level 2 EVSE (240V), can it pre-condition the interior by drawing power from the EVSE and NOT need the 3.6L engine to run while cooling or heating?

I ask because many of us will store our Pac Hybrids in an enclosed garage, and if that feature was present, it would allow the car to be pre-conditioned without needing to disconnect it from EVSE power and back it out of the garage (due to exhaust fumes). it appears other PHEV vehicles can do this from EVSE power... can the Pac Hybrid?

Please let us know. Thanks!
