My car is currently at the dealership for the bucking and the sliding door malfunctioning. The technician told my husband that our 'internal' batter is low and we have many software updates. He can't run the software updates with the battery so low. The battery is not the battery that starts the car. He wants to charge us $375 to change the battery. Our warranty does not cover the software updates. If the software updates do not work, then we will have to diagnose the issue. We have an extended comprehensive warranty for 7 yrs/100k miles. Has anyone heard of this?
