I just sold my 30th Chrysler minivan, my 2014 Town and Country and was about to order a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.....started the process and knew I had to order one as I want all options on a Limited except the vacuum. So, I go to my buddy who is the new car manager and start, but when we got to color, I said stop and let me research.

I did not want bright white again, I wanted the Tusk White, even though no one has one for me to look at.....also can't decide on the interior. I do not like gray interiors and that alloy looks gray. I really liked the mocha seats, but hate the black everywhere else such as all of the interior panels. I like the lighter I guess..... also, I wanted the 8 passenger with that extra middle seat, but boom, that deletes the sunroof!

On a Limited I would want the Customer Preferred Package 25P
Uconnect® Theater and Sound Group, Tire and Wheel Group, Trailer Tow Group, Advanced SafetyTec Group, KeySense, Delete Vacuum / Add Spare Tire and Hands Free Doors & Liftgate Credit.

I have driven 3 already, took home used a few days etc. I just want to make sure of colors first.....45 to 50K is quite a bit and my OCD says this better be ordered correctly so I am happy. I would need to see a Tusk white, but since Chrysler won't add the **** color to their website, I can't do a dealer search and find one. I have looked at the Molten Silver (bronze) and that would be choice two. The interior colors are the ones that are hard to decide on......

The Alloy I think is choice 1, but I looked at a Touring L-Plus yesterday with the alloy and on that model they actually made it pretty. The accent colors are toffee. So where the Limited's allow int has just alloy and black such as dash and carpeting, the Touring L-Plus has alloy and the black that the Limited has is a toffee color, the dash, door handles and carpet is even that lighter color. You would think they would have done that for the Limited....That is really the interior I want The Toffee/congiac/alloy but you miss on some options that the Limited has.....

When I called Chrysler...4 times in the fact that the website doesn't show the 2 colors Tusk White and Molten Silver, it is as if they do not care.....she said that the customer care # 800-Chrysler is really for current owners....

Sorry about the rant, I just want my new van and want it right.

We ordered ours too (Red/Mocha) just because we want what we want, FWIW the color code for Tusk white is PW2 (from another thread), It looks like that color was called stone white in the past.

Trailer tow group will add a little time to the order, i found out that it is not done as the car comes down the line, its done later. They are building the handsfree door/liftgate now also so I doubt you can delete that

I called Chrysler last week and they said that both of those paints they to date do not have listed on the website are available and they started using in June. They gave me both paint codes and PW2 sounded so familiar from past Chrysler vans........I be leave it is stone white! The Molten Silver is already on lots and so I can't understand why it is not on the Chrysler.com site.

The towing package is not like the 5th gen where all it was was a different bumper cover and a hitch, this time the vans get an oil cooler for the tranny and a bigger alternator as well as hitch and bumper cover. Oh and sway control etc that is hooked into the technology stuff. The 2008 to 2016 already had oil coolers on all vans.....

You can't go by the paper swatch in the brochure as tusk white looks like a tan, and hence I need to see in person to make sure. It is funny how some dealers are calling bright white "knuckle white" . On the first run, early versions they did not have the foot door auto open installed and now it is showing up....on the window stickers it states the option, but yet a credit....

We have the Black/Alloy interior on our Limited.. just so you are aware, the trim color on the seats is actually a Burgundy/Mocha color - not black. The seats are Alloy (which to me looks like White). The floor carpeting, etc is actually black.

Have to say, we are very pleased with interior color choice and the car as a whole (it's our first minivan!) Our exterior choice was Granite Crystal - also great! The whole family loves it!
