Well we officially signed the purchase contract yesterday!

Will have a brand new Hybrid. Hopefully the wait won't be too long.

I have a little question about extended warranty. Should we get it or not?

We plan on keeping the Pacifica for at least 10 years. They are offering an extanded warranty to 7 years bumper to bumper for 2900$ CAD.

Is it worth getting?

For all the vehicles we’ve had, we never bought the extended warranty. Only needed one repair of about $700.one time. Of course I don’t normally keep a car too long. :smile2: but hubby does.

How about some details about your new ‘baby’

Well we haven't negociated yet. I'm wondering if it worth the hassle. I normally never take extended warranty but since it's a rather new car with a lot of technology in it. Combined with everything I read online, I won't to keep my pachy at least 10 years.

We got the entry line model, touring plus juste added the electric hatch.

Right now it's only a piece of paper, dealers nearby didn't add a lot on sight of the hybrid. Or they only add the limited. Even though I would have liked it, it was over our budget.

We went for the touring plus with electric hatch, Granit paint.

I bought a 7yr/100k Maximum Care warranty for a 2018 PacHy for $2800. I guess the price depends on every other variable involved in the purchase of your vehicle. The initial quote for the warranty I was given was $3400. So I got them to come down a little bit. What I didn't realize until after the fact was that I have a $200 deductible. I was not aware it would have a deductible. So don't forget about that. If you don't want a deductible I'm sure the price goes up a little bit.
