I have ordered a 2022 Pacifica hybrid pinnacle trim back in June 2022. Got build and ready for shipment end of December 2022. Since December 23, 2022 been KZ status. When asked the dealer back in December and again in the beginning of January and again mid January 2023 I get a weird response “still waiting for a shipping truck” . It sounds silly to me that there isn’t any trucks to ship this van from Windsor to Ottawa??! What do you think?? How long it will be on KZ status? Any shady activity on the part of dealer?
Thank you

Depends on what other vehicles they put on the truck, my Limited was shipped immediately to Rockland after being built in mid-December. It just showed up at the dealer without even updating the status to shipped in their system. Maybe I just got lucky.

Truck drivers don't want to go Ottawa again, lol!...I'm kidding, it depends on how many vehicles need to delivery to Ottawa, they need to calculate transportation costs to maximize profits.

They better not 😂.
I get that but almost one month since it left the factory and the car is sitting in a lot in Windsor still? I am sure they pay for storage because as I understand once it’s out of the manufacture it goes to a complete different entity that isn’t part of Chrysler. So they are trying to get a good deal for a truck while they pay storage fees?

So end of Dec let’s say , holidays , logistics for shipping also come into play as it will sit until a full carrier with all cars is deployed . Depending on location it may arrive with ford, gm , etc and not just all from stellantis .

Thank you all for your opinions. However just got word that it isn’t the shipping that’s delaying the process. It is a new recall on hybrid model 2017-2023 and as a result Chrysler isn’t shipping any new 23 to the dealers yet until a software solution is available. Makes so much sense now. Doesn’t it?

Any update on this? My 2023 Limited S has been showing as "shipped" (dealer says KZ-S) since January 18. But apparently today she said it's still in a lot in Canada? I'm getting so irritated. We ordered in October. Ugh.

They are doing the software update that takes care of the recall 03A. Once successfully done it will be shipped to your dealer and you. I don’t suspect that it will be long though. Maybe a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed lol
