Anyone know the measurement of the highest point of the lift gate when it is open? Concerned about it hitting my garage door.

I have not measured the height of the liftgate but I measured the height of the garage door opening. It hits my garage door opening which is about 2 inches shorter than the 7 ft garage door.

Unless I drive as far fwd as far as I can the lift gate hits the rubber moulding on garage door bottom. Because of the lift gate shape, another foot fwd works with no touching. The lift gate bottom actually then is a few inches above my hatch/door bottom but no touching. Have put tennis ball on string to ceiling. When windshield touches ball, rubber door gasket (lowest part of garage door) misses hatch by about an inch.

6ft 10in is my garage door height to the rubber weather strip mounted to the door frame. I currently have 2004 T&C Limited with electric lift gate. The lift gate does come in contact with the rubber door gasket. I may get clear plastic protector added to the contact area. 6-8 weeks away from delivery of my 2017 Pacifica Limited.
