A good deal is ultimately in the eye of the beholder. Everyone deals different, and there can be so many variations/limitations/circumstances with regards to the deals everyone gets.

I negotiated a price on an ordered vehicle that was at about $800 under invoice prior to incentives/rebates being applied. If all current incentives/rebates remain in place, I should have an additional $2500 off at the minimum when the Pacifica arrives.

If you are a member of Sams Club and have not already done so, I would print off their $1000 rebate/incentive, and present it to the dealer at signing.

PM me your email and I will send you some info, That does not sound like a good deal. My sticker MSRP was 50,560.00 not including TTL and my out the door was almost 8k off. We spoke of this in another thread.

My numbers

MSRP= 50,560.00
Chrysler friends and family price and also 1/2 the holdback brought down to = 46,700.00
Chrysler conquest cash -1500.00 (this is combined 1000 and 500 Chrysler cash)
sam's club rebate - 1000.00
Chrysler financing - 500.00
--------------------------------
FINAL PRICE : 43,700.00 +TTL

then put 5000.00 dn and I am financing 40,395.00

As soon as the loan with Chrysler capital funds, I will refi at my credit union at 1.8% already approved and have 90 days to close and will buy the GAP for 395.00. Chrysler's rate for my 781 score is 3.5. Way to high!!!

I leased a Pacifica Limited......39 months, 10k year, sticker of $48,475 for $483/mo + $2000 down. Includes all NJ taxes and Fees. Ended up adding GAP insurance ($13/mo) and Wheel/Tire Insurance due to 20" wheels & NJ roads ($11/mo) which brought me over $500/mo. Best time to buy/lease seems to be at the end of the month....and at the end of a quarter. SD

Lease question

Utgar, it sounds like you got a great deal on your lease. A couple questions if you don't mind: did you order yours or got it from the dealers inventory? What is the monthly payment before NJ sales tax? Do you have to pay a lease termination fee? Who did you get the gap insurance from?

I purchased (leased) a vehicle in stock to get the best end of month deal. You should be able to get a good price today.

Sales tax in NJ is 7%. Lease and GAP insurance were through Chrysler Capital.

Dealership also bought out my 2015 Sienna XLE lease (got me out of the last 8 months plus $495 disposition fee).

With GAP, Wheel & tire insurance, taxes, fees, and buying me out of the Sienna lease, the cost was $3000 down and $480 for the next 38 months. Total cash outlay over the 39 months with the extra insurance is $21,240 or $544.60/mo (if no money down).

My previous van (2015 Toyota Sienna XLE with Nav) had a sticker of approx $11,000 less and was only $30 less per month ($515/mo).

My target monthly lease cost ("all in"....taxes, fees, etc....not including GAP, maintenance or other add-ons) was 1% of MSRP....ie, a $49,000 MSRP would be $490/mo. I was about $20-25 over my monthly target but happy to get out of the last 8 months of my Sienna lease. I thought it was a good deal.

Hi
New here!

I am looking to buy a Pacifica Limited with Adv Safety Tec, Theater Pkg, Tire and Wheel Pkg and KeySense. So MSRP is $48650. The car is on the lot, doesn't need to be ordered.

Cost was either buy at $43815 (+TTL)
or 39 month lease, 10k miles/mo at $500/mo, with $3574 down, plus DMV. I'm in NY.

Are either of these a good deal? great deal? Can I get a substantially better deal somehow?

Thanks
Cathi

Sounds very close to the one I leased last week. A 39/10 lease with a $48,485 MSRP. The "all in" price (including 7% NJ sales tax, doc/fees) came out to approx $515/mo. 39mo x $515 = $20,085 total outlay over the 39 month period.

This does not include Disposition Fee or any add-on's like GAP insurance, maintenance plans or wheel/tire insurance.

You're at $19,000 (38mo x $500) + $3574 (1st month's lease is in the downpayment) - $22,574 + DMV (??). I think you can do better ($1000+) on your deal. SD

I have several other vehicles, but this one is going to be my daily driver and I put on 18K a year, so for 395.00 why not.....

Wow that's a considerably better deal than what I've been able to get here in CA. The best pricing I have so far (on a nearly identical vehicle) is around $670/month:

MSRP: $49,425
dealer discount: $4,325
rebate: $2,000
adj cap cost: $44,950
adj Residual: $23,724
36 months lease
12,000 miles/yr
Zero down
$671/mo (tax included).

Others have come in at over $700/month tax incl. Is it possible prices are higher in CA? The sales tax is slightly higher here than NJ (8.75% vs 7%) but it's not much. What am I missing?
