Do the doors automatically lock when you walk away with the key fob or do you have to lock it manually with the button on the handle or the fob?

The doors do not automatically lock. You have to lock them with the button on the door handle or the fob.

Ah, thanks, and I here I thought it was detecting the key from a far distance when I got to the car and it was unlocked LOL

My wife's car locks automatically, it's both helpful and annoying at times

It also doesn't automatically unlock when you get close. You have to grasp the handle or hit the fob button for it to unlock.
