Brand new van has been sitting at the dealership for TWO WEEKS because of this issue. They have done 2 updates and replaced the media player, still didn't fix the problem. We are now picking it up because we have a 20+ hours road trip for Thanksgiving to FL and they couldn't provide alternate transportation for us. I get to listen to constant crackling or my 3 kids complaining because they can't watch a movie-- which poison do I pick?!

Did some research on the forums and everyone else has found resolution by swapping out the VRM module. I told the dealership to look into that resolution as that is what has been recommended for this known issue and he said he would tell his manager about it. Guess they didn't want to listen to us nor that suggestion because it's still not fixed!

Be thankful if you have a good service department that will actually fix this issue because ours sucks!

Hi alsjar,

Sorry to hear about this! If you decide to revisit your local dealership for further diagnosis I'd be happy to offer assistance if needed. Just send us a PM with your VIN and let me know.

Is that your auto-reply message? If you read my post, I distinctly said my car is still at the dealership! It's been there for 2 weeks without resolution! Skyland Auto-- tell them it's the Reed's 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, pretty sure they'll know who/what car!

Hi alsjar,

Dealership still hasn't fixed all of our problems. After more than 3 weeks in service, their fix for the crackling created a new problem with the video screens going black. Here is my VIN: 2C4RC1GG8HR647710
Skyland Automotive said they would take back the vehicle, they supposedly started working with Chrysler rep and now no one will even bother to return my phone calls. I'm done taking it to the service department.
It's been 6 months of constant issues! Need help to get this taken care of now!
