So far our 2018 bought Nov 2017, has been doing good.
It died today @~65mph on the highway in the express with the message to shift to park then press start.
ICE nor HV Battery running, was running on ICE having already traveled over 150 miles.
Not able to shut down, or start. Had calls on UConnect.
Able to move/change gear selector, but not move vehicle.
Called AAA, waited 20-30 min. AAA tried locking and unlocking with keyfob, then jumped 12V.
Tried again and it restarted
Codes U1124,P0C1A, and P1B04.
Drove home, another 60 miles.
Its definitely going to Chryco tomorrow, but not holding my breath.
Open to ideas but this was weird.

1124 code can stop you on highway.

So OBD 1124 can shut off all of the vehicles motive power (ICE/Electrical) at speed.
If you get this code consider my experience below before taking it on the highway.
Vehicle is staying at dealer until they figure out how to effect the repair RRT 18-026.

Thanks @ChryslerCares,
After about a week with a rental, we finally got the Van back. Wife is not sure to trust it yet.
Would suggest that some feedback be given to the attention of the software programers and software subsystems as to what can shut down motive power at high speed.
Some some priority as to safe graceful failure (limp mode) should be considered as opposed to borking the system to shutdown motive power at high speed Eg 60mph.

Secondly, the concept of ensuring that Chrysler dealerships have a program to have things essential to working on these vehicles in order.
EG Gloves with a year long validity should have new gloves replacing them prior to sending in the old gloves.
