And the S Appearance Package, too. I was able to see Maximum Steel side-by-side with Granite. The Maximum Steel has a blue-ish cast, but the man on the street would still call it gray, while Granite is a neutral dark gray. They are about the same "tone" or "darkness." In the sunlight, Max Steel Metallic reflects in rainbow hues. I find it fetching and a more interesting color than Granite.
We drove to a dealer just to see the color in person, and ordered one that day. We saw a Challenger in Max. Steel and that looked great, too. It's really dark when overcast but brightens nicely in the light.
"Max Steel" makes me think of the episode when Homer Simpson changed his name to "Max Power" ("Max Power, he's the man whose name you'd love to touch... but you musn't touch!).
