Does anyone know if the MOPAR Level 2 charger from Chrysler is a plug-in or wired-in style?

I looked at the AreoEnvironmental EVSE-RS on which this is based and they show 2 styles - one that plugs into a 220V outlet (like a dryer outlet) and one that is wired into a box.

Ideally we'd be getting the plug-in style that we can move easily and also use the 220V outlet for other appliances/devices.

Judging from the quoted list price value of the charger ($699) and the fact that it's a rebranded AeroVironment EVSE-RS charger, I believe it's the hardwired version that does NOT plug into a 220V outlet. The version that does plug in retails for $749.

It should be possible to convert the hardwired to a plug in version. The electrician that's installing mine installed the one at the dealership, and they had him install a plug on it, so that they could move it to different locations within the shop. I expect that you'd simply need to get someting akin to a dryer cord, and attach it to the points where you'd hardwire it in.
