Thank you all SO much. We went back in person to the dealership today and asked them again to check on the 12V battery. Now he said that may make sense and said they would run a thorough battery diagnostic test (the GAR test?). I'm waiting for results.

Hi Vivia727,
We are glad the dealer was able to assist you. If you are interested, feel free to private message us and we can connect you to a Case Socialist to assist you!

I just called to ask if they have checked the 12V battery and the service manager yelled at me that 1) they checked everything, 2) it was my fault for running the battery down, and he called Chrysler and they agreed with him.
He was either lying, or he didn't tell Chrysler everything. Time to escalate within Chrysler. {Jonathan}

Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you an update. They ran the GRA test of the 12v battery, which they said was a 3-hr test, and found...nothing. Now they are telling me again there is nothing more they can do other than drive around and hope the van acts up.

We hired a lawyer and opened a lemon law case, and I don’t want to potentially jeopardize my case by naming the dealership, so I will just say it is in a suburb of Atlanta and to send me a private message if you want more information. Thank you all for your support and advice.

Did you change dealerships from the original dufus one? If not, go to a different dealer and politely demand a new battery since it sat on the lot for a year. You have to find a new dealer anyway, the original one is either incompetent or lying.
