Chrysler does nothing to resolve my issue. I have 6500 miles on the car and I feel like I have had half of the issues listed. Everything from blown speakers and broken DVD player to more serious still with broken door hinges and everything as serious as replaced struts, axle and break hubs!!!! The car stalls it clicks and ticks and no one at Chrysler understands that I'm scared to death literally that I am going to die in this death trap. The customer service guy I deal with is dishonest and talks in circles they say the codes are being analyzed by engineering but here I am yet again with a check engine light and a car that scares me every time I get behind the wheel. I've been told if I hadn't bought it cash maybe then they could help me recoup some money on my payments but since I bought the car out cash they won't offer to do a thing. The rep went so far as to threaten me when I asked about lemon law. I'm scared of this car. I hate this car and I want nothing more then to get out of owning it and In to a safe one.

Lisagreene,

I would do the following:

1. Document everything - service paperwork, calls w/ Chrysler, etc.
2. Find a local lemon lawyer (especially one that has done FCA work)
3. Let the lemon lawyer handle - it may take a few months but it will ultimately get sorted out.

Whether you bought cash or financed should not affect your ability to move forward with a lemon law claim.

Welcome to the board! What a way to make an entrance.

How about some specifics? Like when did you buy your PAC? What state or even dealer name? Hopefully Chrysler will resolve your situation.

There are good Chrysler cares representatives here monitoring the forum. Hopefully they can get involved and help you get your situation remedied. Sorry to hear about your problems.

Hi Lisagreene,

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. Can you PM our page with your VIN and case number if you have one? I'd like to look into this further for you.

Lemon

Hi Lisa,

It seems like we both have lemons in what seems to be a good vehicle. I also had the clicking/ creaking sound, took it in and they replaced bearings and something with the caliper I believe. One week later the car completely died and the dealer said it was a broken axle. Had it fixed, picked it up on a Monday, and on Friday, the car died again. In both cases when I say the car died, it was totally undrivable. The car would roll back in Park and in Drive it wouldn't go and was making a horrible grinding sound. It would seem to me to be a transmission problem. I did read that if you hear clicking or creaking, it means you have a bad axle. I am in touch with the Chrysler Cares person named Kori who emailed me from this site. I also called FCA directly. I too don't feel safe in my Pacifica. It is a danger to drive. I have 5,400 miles on the car. I am demanding a replacement because this is not what we should experience when purchasing a new car. Hopefully they will be responsive and resolve this quickly. Good luck with yours.

lemon

In 1990 I bought a olds and the first 10000 miles were terrific after that I had nothing but trouble with it.Gm and the dealer didnt seem to care.So I did the next best thing I traded it off glad I had the money to do so.Sometimes it isnt only the dealer being bad but a bad tech.I dont like it when they keep the same tech on the same car.

You need to call Chrysler Care and open a case. Then have it escalated! They will take care of it. Sounds like you are dealing with a horrible dealer and unfortunately the dealer can be the bigger problem than the vehicle itself.

1-800-247-9753 then just stay on the line through the first set of prompts until it says "for Chrysler, press 1" and then press 1.

Tell them the whole issue and that you need to open a case and get that case number.
