Hello All,

Have owned for 1 week and so far love the Pacifica. We previously had a 2006 Odyssey which was very reliable but no wow factor. Kids hated the Odyssey lol. They can't wait to ride in the Pacifica.

Favorite features;
Panoramic roof
Uconnect
Playing Xbox - kids really dig this
Vacuum
All sorts of cool electronics, still learning them all.

Only one issue so far, the power sliding doors don't auto reverse when an object is in the way. I read on the forum there's a TSB for this issue so will be making a trip to the dealer soon. Has any Pacifica owners from Canada come across this issue and had the dealership fixed it?

Hi Hexeye, welcome to the forum! I know that members in the US have had the TSB for the sliding doors performed, but not sure about Canada. I'm sure some of our Canadian members will chime in.

Hi Hexeye--glad to hear you're loving the Pacifica! My team and I assist customers in the US, but if you have any concerns like this one, please reach out to our customer care counterparts in Canada by calling (800) 465-2001 so they can help too!

US service not same as CAN :(

Unfortunately (in these cases at least), Canada is not the same as the US. If it's like Honda, then TSBs aren't the same for both countries. They may end up issuing bulletins for the same or similar things eventually, but Canada usually lags behind in them. The numbers don't match up for the TSBs, and the Canadian service departments will take your US TSBs and wipe their butts with them to demonstrate how much weight they carry applying on Canadian warranties here. I know it doesn't make sense in most cases since they are essentially the same car except for some metric/imperial and possibly emissions related things, but I think it's how the costs of business are calculated.

Even the customer care line doesn't have the same access to information vs. the US. We don't even have the live chat feature. :*( I feel very poor and 3rd world-ish. ....in MY FANCY SOON TO BE PACIFICA THAT IS!!!! HA!0:)

...oh ya, and welcome to the family!
