Drove up to Michigan from our home here in Summerfield, Fla to visit family for the Christmas Holiday and to reinforce the reason why we retired and moved to Florida. Don't miss the COLD at all. We ordered a new Pacifica Touring-L, red velvet, and were hoping it would be in before Christmas so we could take delivery while there. We had a back up vehicle on hold (white), just is case. Any way our salesmen called us while on the road up (Monday 12/19), and told me they just unloaded our new vehicle from the truck (Happy,Happy) we arrived in Michigan on Tuesday, and picked up the Pacifica on Wednesday. Arrived back home yesterday (12/28 after 1100 miles), and the Pacifica performed beautifully.

Now two quick issues that I detected. 1.) Outside temp indicator seems to read several degrees higher than actual temperature. Any one else having this problem? Can anything be done to correct it? Not a fan of things that don't operate as designed. 2.) Set a few favorites on my Uconnect SIRIUS radio, and set the alert to get an audible and visual notification. I'm only getting the visual alert, and it's very hard to see and only by chance that I notice it. Anyone else? Nice to have this site and be able to keep up with all things PACIFICA.

Temp is known issue. See this thread. http://www.pacificaforums.com/forum/401-electronics/3890-outside-temp-reading-too-high.html

Not sure about #2. I'm sure someone will chime in. Congratulations on your new Pacifica and welcome to the forum.

Thanks irpilot for the info on the Outside Temp, and by looking through some of these different threads I'm quite sure as you said "someone will chime in". Nice to have a place to go, and get feed back from other owners about their concerns, likes and dislikes.

Welcome and congrats! For the Sirius notifications you have both the check boxes marked for sound and visual? When I got my van only the visual box was checked. Do note that the sound notification is a nonintrusive bleep. Once you train your ears you will notice it every time it goes off, but in the beginning it is easy to miss. Out of all things that could go wrong with this giant computer on wheels, it is weird that the sound notification for Sirius doesn't work. However, if that is the case, any local dealer can help. Or there may be a "restore factory settings" button that will reset it and maybe take care of the glitch.

Thank you 17lim for the info on notification setting. I did set it to both as you said, unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to hear a favorite (not many set yet). Guess I'll have to set Eagles (Artist) as they play a lot of them, which incidentally I like, but randomly catching one may take a little time. I'm still try to navigate through this site and soak up the information, so far it's all been very informative.
