Hello all

New to forum, going to start my learning here from current owners, just like I did over at GM-Volt.com, prior to and after my purchase, of my 2017 Kinetic Blue Volt LT.

Love the plug in electric and gas backup, hence why the Hybrid Pacifica is so amazing and interesting. The first Plug in vehicle which has size! a decent electric range(for its size)! and doesn't compromise anything(unless you count middle stow and go, but we need a battery).

And I'm lucky to live in Ontario and can take advantage of the 14,000 dollar rebate, just like the 11,800 I was able to use on the volt. Make new expensive vehicles much more accessible.

See you around the forum!

Good luck in your Pacifica hunt - I have the Cadillac ELR (Volt platform) but forego the Pacifica Hybrid and got the Limited. We really wanted the stow and go second row seats for building supplies and our four-legged passengers. Plus, at least on the East Coast, there aren't many level 2 charging stations around - not like California anyway. Can't beat the plug-in rebates most jurisdiction offer as you point out.

Welcome to the forum. And good luck on your search.
I started the same way you are doing now. Joined the forum when trying to learn more about owner's experiences on the Limited. As I read on, I started to read the agonizing long wait for the Hybrid and I got very interested about it. The more I learn, the more I got interested. I did not pre-order as I wanted to test drive it before committing myself.
A few days after the hybrid started arriving at TO dealers, I was able to test drive one. And that cemented my decision to get the hybrid over the Limited.
And a week after, I found my PacHy at a dealer lot - saved me from factory order and a long wait for delivery.
With 1300km on it, I still love my PacHy.
