New map issues

2021 uconnect 5... just updated my maps to the March 2023 version. Still missing some roads that are nearly a year old. Little frustrating...I wonder if we're being told we got an update but just downloading an old but only slightly newer map versus the one that arrived with the vehicle
Also, I have xm guardian subscription, but my traffic/ closures/ gas price feature has disappeared since my update. Did the soft reset but that didn't help. Anyone have something similar happen?

Even if you have the latest map, doesn't mean TomTom has updated your area. I doubt the latest map isn't loading properly.

I've also lost traffic, gas prices, and weather info. (21 PHEV Pinnacle).

That begs the question from me... how long does it take tom Tom to remap north America completely? I realize the entire earth is probably not completely photographed every three months (but truthfully i have no idea, maybe it is... twice). I know they didn't just start releasing new maps last month; they've been doing it consistently for years, but it's only now available to us.

You can let Tomtom know about missing roads: About MapShare reporter
This is probably your best bet, since they probably can't survey all roads constantly and may be dependent on the data shared by each state.

I don't use the van often but I noticed I didn't have traffic when I last used it on Saturday. I didn't so the maps update yet, so its using whatever the car came with when I bought it.

So, I spent a lot of time on the phone with Sirius about getting traffic back...

Apparently, traffic service is part of XM radio? so I paid a few extra bucks for that and parlayed that into a large discount on my XM guardian service. So I'm paying less for he same service now I guess... but still the traffic has only reappeared briefly but mostly doesn't work anymore. guess I'm back on the phone next time I'm in the car.

Funny thing is I lost my traffic after my free trial was up. I never got it back until I re-upped with SiriusXM Guardian (always had XM radio)
So, naturally I called Guardian to resolve the issue with traffic going bye bye with the map update...
That's when I got sent to XM radio to get traffic back.

Why does it have to be this difficult?
Updated today and it broke the are we there yet app. It no longer shows arrival time and remaining trip time.

It might show up by itself in the next cycle or two.
